Fashion Show a Super Success

Thank you to all the Jibe Fans that came to support us at the crazy fun Jibe City Fashion Show two weekends ago. Everyone had a really great time, and here are some pictures of the event for all of you that could perhaps not make it. The beach at Jibe was truly transformed for the show. It was thriving with energy, as people crowded around the runway. Next Fashion show will be the last weekend of June 2010, mark your calendar!!

 

Bonaire Ambassadors Kristen and Max

On Thursday July 9th, Max Snodderly and Kristen Harris got awarded a gold medal by our Tourism Corporation Bonaire. For more than 23 years Max and Kristen have visited our beautiful island and of course Jibe City. We are very grateful for having them as our guests. Many years to follow!! Thanks TCB and Max and Kristen for making this happen!!

 

Come On Kid's

The Jibe City Kid’s Clinics have become very popular here after they first began last year. We design our clinics to follow the format of the very successful ABK clinics, which are run all year round by world-famous surf teacher Andy Brandt. The ABK clinics have always included: a small student to teacher ratio, extensive time on the water with the instructors, and specially designed lectures proceeding entering the water. All these aspects are included in our clinics; ours however take place over the course of three consecutive mornings. This means the kids will have time to do what they like in the afternoon, and it will not tire them out. With the help of the natural conditions of the Bay, our beginner equipment, and the professional instructors, all the kids improve exceptionally fast… whilst having FUN!!! If you do have kid’s that are beyond the beginner levels of windsurfing e.g. they are comfortable in the harness, going fast, and fairly consistently turning on a semi-sinker board, then you should sign them up for our Freestyle Clinic offered from the 13th to the 15th of July. The freestyle clinic also includes a video analysis of their progression throughout the lessons. The main instructor is our professional freestyler Caesar Finis. Lycras, equipment, and lunches are all included for all three days! We still have spaces left, but hurry hurry, they are filling up quickly.
